Hey everyone!

Today we explored Kinsale before setting off to Killarney. Kinsale boasts two beautiful churches downtown: the Anglican Church of Ireland St. Maltose and the Catholic St. John the Baptist. Inside St. Multose, there was a stained class window dedicated to a local hero, a member of the Connaught Rangers. We could not view the interior of St. John the Baptist because a First Communion was being held there today. There are also the remnants of a castle in Kinsale, Desmond Castle. We didn't go inside of this castle since there wasn't much left of the building and we were running short on time. Right along the street outside our hotel, the Kinsale Car Show was occurring. There were a wide range of makes, models, and years represented at this car show.

Killarney is a gorgeous little town, teeming with activity and rich culture. Several of us went to dinner at O'Donoghues, a nice little restaurant that featured a variety of dishes. The service was slow, but the food was good. We ventured on to a few souvenir shops as well. Finally, a group went to a film and another group stayed in to watch Britain's Got Talent. We then meandered over to a few local pubs. All in all, it was another fantastic day in the Emerald Isle!
