Today was primarily a traveling day. We woke up bright and early, had our breakfast and left Belfast, primed and ready for the city of Dublin.

We reached Dublin around 12 and unfortunately had to say goodbye to our wonderful bus driver Gerry. We couldn't have asked for a better driver. WE LOVE YOU GERRY!!! WE'LL MISS YOU!!!

From there we got into our apartments at Saint Augustine Apartments. Once settled in (and went grocery shopping) we divided into a couple groups. One group went to the Guinness factory and the other went to The Natural History Museum.

The Guinness factory has 7 floors with the top being a sky bar. With the purchase of the ticket you get a complimentary pint of Guinness at the end. The ground floor consists of a general overview about Guinness along with the gift store. The first floor is all about the brewing process along with the transport. The second floor has a tasting room where you learn how to properly taste the beer and the third floor talks about about how Guinness has been advertised over the years. On the fourth floor you can learn how to pour the perfect pint and the fifth floor is a restaurant. The 6th floor is the sky bar where you can get your free pint of Guinness while looking at a 360 view of Dublin.

The Natural History Museum was incredible. Despite it being a fairly small space and only two floors, there is so much to see! The bottom floor had many impressive displays of the extinct Irish Deer antlers, as well as many fish, insects, and even a Fin Whale Skeleton! The second floor definitely had my favorite parts. There was an African Elephant Tusk that was 170 pounds! I'm pretty sure it was longer than Rebecca is tall. The cutest part was definitely the baby, pygmy hippo. All of these can be seen in our pictures.

For dinner a group of us went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Dublin. We shared potato skins and some of us had hamburgers and nachos for our meals. For dessert a couple of us shared an Oreo Cheesecake. It was a delicious dinner and a little reminder of home. We are excited to see what the next three days in Dublin with bring!
